Pastor Braun, the youngest of seven children, grew up in inner-city St. Paul where his father served as pastor of Bethlehem Lutheran Church on the East Side. He is married to Colleen--they have two sons, Darren and Curtis, who live in the Twin Cities. Pastor Braun loves sharing his faith in Jesus. He also enjoys reading the sports pages, play cards, and spending time with his best friend, Colleen. One of his favorite Bible verses is Romans 1:16 which says "I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes."

Pastor Joe grew up in the Mankato area. He attended college in St. Paul where he met his wife, Katie. He attended seminary in St. Louis for 4 years and is excited to be at St. Matthew in Worthington. Katie works as a early childhood special education teacher for the school district. Together they enjoy spending time at home with their dog, Charlie and their new baby boy Nicholas. Joe’s hobbies include football and any kind of competitive sports as well as World War II history. One of his favorite Bible passages is from Hebrews 13:5-6 reminding him of God’s continued blessings and provision for life.

Roxann (Roxie) Leckband, Director of Family and Youth ministry, and her husband Greg, live on a farm outside Worthington. They have five children: Lacey, Laura, Kayla, Kole (who passed away at age 11), Jonathan and a foster daughter Michael. Roxie has been employed by St. Matthew’s since 2001. Previously, Roxie worked as a nurse in a local hospital in medical-surgical nursing as well as in mental health. Roxie enjoys quiet time with God, walking, caring for her family, and going to Disney World and Disney Land with her family.

Colleen is a local girl, a graduate of Worthington Senior High School, and a graduate of Concordia-St. Paul in the DCE program. She is married to Pastor Braun--they have two sons, Darren and Curtis, who live in the Twin Cities. Colleen enjoys old movies, baking, and touring the U.S. with her husband. One of her favorite Bible verses is 1 John 4:10.
Beverly Spittle - Administrative Assistant
Bev Spittle and husband, Bryon (who works for Avera Worthington Specialty Clinics) both grew up in the Worthington area. They have been blessed with two boys, Ethan and Brendan. They live in Worthington. Bev enjoys watching her boys play sports, reading, playing guitar, taking walks and spending time with Bryon and their boys.
Andy Braun - Custodian
Andy Braun and his wife Kim have been blessed with four children: Tanner, Easton, Carter and Jacelyn. They live on an acreage outside of Reading, MN. Andy’s hobbies are hunting and coaching hockey. He also owns his own lawn care, landscaping and snow removal business.
